Buck here, is a Inkling with red tentacles. Buck's skin is slightly tanned, and his eye color is green. He's slightly taller than his fellow, average Inkling by around 6 inches, he has a lean, muscular body. Out of his usual, crime fighting attire. Buck usually wears the Dark Urban Vest, slim fit jeans, and Punk Cherries topped off with a paisley bandana, worn around his neck like a handkerchief. In his crime fighting attire, however, his outfit changes from edgy to edgier, which doesn't really help him in the way of looking like a Hero, but he claims it looks cool. Buck wears a black Bomber Jacket that has a fur collar with a red hoodie underneath, the hood is usually worn up to cover most of his identity. His face is then covered by a Ski Mask with a red tinted visor, obscuring his face. His pants go from jeans to cargo pants with a holster on each leg for a pair of smaller, red metal Octoshots. Surprisingly, despite the fact his appearance makes his seem more villainous than heroic, he seeks to help people and not cause mayhem. It all started when he was a little Squid, when his parents died--Nah, I'm kidding. Buck grew up reading comic books, ranging from The Pretty Good Inkman to Squidman vs Krakatoric. All of them were great heroes--excluding Krakatoric, he's a villain-- in his eyes.

His adoration of heroes peaked when the New Squidbeak Splatoon recovered the Great Zapfish and it's lesser kin. Buck, seeking to prove that he can be a hero just like them, sought to become a Vigilante when he grew up.

He wouldn't be like Squidman, because he didn't have superpowers like super strength or speed. But he would be like Inkman, a regular Inkling man, strong in his own right. Buck went to create various gadgets that would help him in his slightly dangerous, new career.

Buck would be, The Crimson Squid.

However, his regular, average Joe life would have to suffer in turn. His gadgets were expensive to create and maintain, causing him to ditch his Vigilante career for a while and focus on his day job. A Battle Dojo teacher, teaching people to play and setting up 1v1 duels for people.

He didn't enjoy it.

Eventually though, once he got his life in check. Buck finally achieved his Vigilante dream and went to work on it. Patrolling the rooftops/streets of Inkopolis and Octo Valley.
