Well, it was pretty nice to finally get on a squad- uh... more or less. It was... still weird. A really weird feeling. Hopefully a good one, but weird none-the-less. She didn't really know the two that well, aside from seeing them around school and occasionally in Turf Wars, but she never really gave them much thought. As a free-roamer, hopping from team to team, she never really gave anyone much thought. It'd been a long time since Domino had made a friend, and even longer that she's made a nice friend.
While it'd probably be a while before she got to 'officially meet' Casper - if it could be called that, considering they know each other to some (small) extent - some quality time with Iggy would be nice! If things went according to plan, they'd be besties by the end of the day! If... if she even really had a plan, that is.
Domino's plan was, well... nonexistent. She'd wing it. That's what her plan is. She's winging it, and hoping for the best. School had ended about an hour ago, and despite the fact she's a bit early ('a bit' is an understatement), Domino skipped to the door excitedly, checking for the fifth time to make sure the address was correct. Can you imagine her going to the wrong house? She could, and it was dreadful.
The inkling really had no clue what she was supposed to bring, if anything. Not only that, but... rather than go home and wait until the time she was supposed to show up, Domino had walked here straight from school. So... backpack and all. Good plan, Dom, bring all your shit and just crash here, least you didn't bring your weapon-
Haha! You thought she'd leave home without her Roller, did you? Well, there's no way in hell Miss Inferna would ever go anywhere without her baby. Unless, you know, she is asked not to bring it. Sneaking a Turf weapon into school is a stupid, irresponsible, and risky move, but luck happened to be on her side today! That, and the fact that she hid it somewhere before entering the building so technically she didn't bring it to school! Smart cookie, right?
Checking once more on the address, Domino shifted her backpack to a more comfortable angle before knocking rapidly on the door. Shouting in a sing-song voice, the inkling leaned forward, "Hellooooooo! Anybody hooome? Your new, cool, awesome squadmate here! I brought leftover chips! I smell nice and have cute clothing! Hello?" Of course she'd not give anyone the chance to cut off her brilliant, foolproof introduction. If she did, then it wouldn't be brilliant or foolproof!

They'd made plans before he could give himself time to regret it. Iggy hoped it was for the best; after all, he hadn't exactly worked out a routine for recruiting teammates. Familiarization had to happen somewhere along the line, and he supposed that today would have to be the start of it - for better or for worse. He was prepared in theory, and maybe if his desk hadn't looked so comfortable and his eyelids hadn't felt so heavy...
The sound of rapid knocking jolted him awake, head lifting with a start up from the papers scattered across his desktop. His frantic breathing began to slow as his eyes grazed the interior of his bedroom, finding everything in place. Domino's muffled voice carried down the hall, and a weary realization numbed the shock in his expression. Eyes heavy-lidded, he glanced at his monitor, unsurprised to find that she'd arrived even earlier than predicted. Iggy ran the palm of his hand down his face.
"My 'new, cool, awesome' squadmate is early." The door swung inward to reveal a disheveled-looking Iggy, absently brushing the wrinkles from his shirt. Despite the nature of his words, they were spoken with a smile more weary than it was halfhearted. Squinting in the sunlight, he lifted his forearm to shield his eyes and stared down at the eager inkling, blinking in shock at the roller she carried with her. "... You brought your weapon?"

Bouncing anxiously from foot to foot, Domino awaited impatiently until the door swung open, revealing an exhausted looking Iggy. Sheesh, is it his bed time right now? Maybe he was sick. Oh well, he'd have to postpone that illness, it's friend makin' time.
Grinning a lopsided grin, the inkling nodded, thankful that he didn't look too mad. "Well, I wanted to make sure I was on time and, ya' know, not late, so I came here straight after school, and it's better early than late, right?" Noting his squinting, Domino wished she was just a tad taller... and by a tad, she means about a foot taller. It'd probably be nice to help shield the sun from his eyes?
Oh, he mentioned her weapon! "Uh huh! I didn't know what I was supposed to bring. I've, uh... never... done one of these before?" She paused. Was she supposed to specify on whether it was a 'squad' these or a 'friend' these. Or was she, uh, supposed to tell him that it was both, because it was most certainly both. Leaning close to the yellow, tired inkling, Domino gave a toothy smile, albeit a little awkward. "It doesn't have any ink on it, so it won't mess up your floors or walls! She's not super heavy, either, and is a very polite Roller, so I don't think you'll have to worry too much?"
Standing straight once more, Domino shifted her backpack again, holding her beloved weapon closer. She bounced impatiently. "So can I come in? I brought left-over cafeteria chiiiips~"

It was difficult to muster enthusiasm in light of his lethargy. Domino's energetic shifting left him feeling mildly baffled, but it was certainly preferable to boredom. "You got me there," he agreed, albeit with a look of slight skepticism. The inkling's next remark brought a confused smile to his lips, and with a furrow of his brow, Iggy echoed, "One of 'these things'? A visit, you mean?" She seemed as uncertain as he felt. It was strange of her to bring her weapon along, but otherwise harmless - he doubted his mother would care much.
Blinking as Domino leaned forward, he resisted the underlying desire to distance himself even marginally and instead frowned, watching as a goofy smile parted her lips. "Don't worry," he assured her, deciding against commenting on the roller's aforementioned manners, "it's not a problem."
A look of realization took hold of his features. "Oh, right." Lowering his arm, he stepped aside and held the door open. The door lead directly to the entrance hall, a tidy room with hardwood floors and a warmly patterned rug. Iggy paused, seeming to recall her mention of chips, and cast a dubious glance back at her. "Cafeteria chips?" The implications of her... tempting reminder left his eyebrows arched in skepticism, and the image of Domino stuffing cafeteria food into her backpack entered his mind. His initial impulse was to laugh, but thinking better of it, he smiled and remarked experimentally, "That's pretty high end."

At least he didn't seem too unfriendly. Domino glanced to the side, pursing her lips together - like a visit? Well, he wasn't wrong, but there was more to it than that, wasn't there? Shrugging it off, Domino nodded, "Um, sure! Let's go with that!" He wasn't wrong, so... she guessed it was a 'visit' that she was lookin' for.
Glad to hear that her new pal wasn't upset about her bringing her weapon, the inkling gave a happy pat to the handle of the Roller. At his gesture of moving aside, Domino skipped in, halting as she felt her Roller getting snagged by the door. God dammit. Turning to the door, she pushed her weapon back outside, turning it so the long felt tube was perpendicular to the door. "Sorry about that, I always forget that Loch Ness is fat." Domino muttered stubbornly, finally managing the weapon inside Iggy's home.
Looking up towards Iggy (damn him and his tall ass), she nodded, smiling softly. "Yeah!" Prancing down the hall, she slowed, realizing the fact that... this wasn't her house and she had no idea where she was allowed to be. Stepping to the side in the opening room, Domino gave a small, uncomfortable grin. "Yeah, I have -" Recognizing the intent of his words, the inkling gave a small laugh.
"No, doofus, you know there's a vending machine right?" Domino balled her fist up, giving a playful punch in Iggy's direction. Placing her backpack onto the floor, she giggled softly. Opening it up, careful to not let it's... bountiful innards spill onto the weirdly clear floor, Domino dug through it before pulling out three bags. "I've got Kelp Chips, Fish 'n Chips, and - oh! oh! I got some Animal Crackers from this shady kid in an alley!"
