It was a cold, rainy day that day. Nothing too hard as the drizzle was light enough to still have people walking around the Mall. And along one of the sides that were less populated with shops hence less rivals to deal with, was a small café with a neon sign for the darker lighting today. One that read 'Luna Di Fiore Café'. And the shop owner? A shy inkling by the name of Hanako. It was a very forward approach for the anti-social girl, but considering she visited her grandmother Lily recently whom was just excited to see her little flower bloom into a slowly more sociable squid. Already she had made a friend with someone and had arranged a get together for some turf wars practice. This brought a tear to the old woman's eye and she eagerly begged Hanako to try and make some more, or if at least make more social contact one way or another. Making friends or talking because of a job.
And that's where the idea for the Café sparked. She just had to take orders, make the coffee and food, then leave the customers to eat and enjoy the music she'd play. But she tried to remain quiet most times as she didn't want her cover as the Phantom of Booyah Base to be blown. So instrumental music was played, especially with the old Piano from Lily's apartment that she allowed to have in the café. The squid even saying that once the doctors say it's fine for her to go back out, she'd rush to the small building as quick as she could to listen to Hanako's songs and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Though it did cost a fair amount of money to make it, she got a bit of a loan from her Granny to help out. It'd do for now.
But back to the current time. The Café was empty and business was slow that day, not many people wanted to explore the full reaches of the mall on a rainy day it seemed. But that was fine as it let Hanako, who was dressed in her uniform (Don't blame me when I type in 'cafe waitress' I just get things similar to this >_>) and sitting by the piano over in a place that didn't have windows, but was still in the main area of the shop and clearly visible to any customer that came in. Then she began playing a melody on the large instrument that would sooth both her, and potentially people who could catch ear of the song as the slow melody went along with the rainy weather like a duet.
