Yo! Bartholomew is an apathetic inkling whose past leaves his emotional state stagnant with few interests to hold his attention in life. I'm gonna go a bit more in-depth on him, but to avoid repeating stuff, please check out his app over here!
Overview: Unless it's something he cares about or your his friend, it's hard to get his attention on a single thing for too long. It's not that he's too distracted by something else, but rather he just becomes easily disinterested unless it's his work or his interests. Usually, when he's in this state of disinterest he'll stare off into space or passively people watch. Barlo does like to talk when he's in a state of interest, though, and will probably forget about responsibilities if he and the other are talking about something that catches his fancy. While normally sitting down, when he's up and about his lanky appearance is easy to see, while not stick like, his habit of forgetting to eat only adds to this stature. Standing at 6'3, he towers over most inklings his age, but again, he usually spends most of his time sitting on the ground.

friendships
As of yet, Barlo doesn't have people he considers friends. He knows a few faces, sure. Yet his tendency to not socialize outside what was needed as a child only grew worse after the death of his aunt, with almost no drive to find friends. This isn't to say he can't have friends, rather that the potential friend will have to do a lot of uphill work to get there, as not only is it hard to hold his attention, but also he's rather oblivious as to what people think of him, so it's hard for him to take a hint that someone would want to be his friend.

You'd have to jump through the same hoops as you would with friendship, but it'd be even more complicated. Growing up with his single aunt and being a bit of a shut in, childhood crushes never formed and he never became curious about love, and in fact, he barely knows what it is, so if he had a crush on someone somehow? He'd first be in denial, bluffing himself by thinking he's just not used to friends, but in reality, he's just lost and unsure of how to handle these intense feelings he's tried so hard to hide from. This also means that if you try to flirt with him, you'll either get an oblivious response or an extremely flustered one.enemies
