MALLOW
35 - female - inkling
[attr="class","likeit-scroll"]
friendships
She may not look it, but Mallow is as outgoing as she is kind. Although she has a particular weakness for children (well-behaved or otherwise), she won't hesitate to strike up a conversation with any old stranger. Mallow isn't one to judge at first glance, either - she's encountered all manner of creatures in her time as a nurse and has no difficulty giving others the benefit of the doubt. Gentle and patient by nature, she's tough to offend and knows well how to diffuse uncomfortable situations. Being the social butterfly that she is, Mallow trusts easily and isn't difficult to form a close relationship with.
romances
Unlike friendships, romantic relationships don't come easily to Mallow. Despite her trusting and open demeanor, she's reluctant to invest in romance. Having suffered a divorce just years ago, she still struggles to forget her estranged husband. It's very unlikely Mallow would easily develop feelings for someone new, let alone a stranger. A close and trusting friendship may prove conducive for new found affection, but even still, such feelings would be met with wary pursuit - if any at all.enemies
Having always attempted to maintain a calm demeanor in the face of adversity, Mallow's not an easy one to anger. She's more likely to try to resolve any problems with a diplomatic discussion than lash out, but her fuse is far from infinite. Threats to the safety of others, loved ones or no, are sure to get her blood boiling. She won't tolerate the mistreatment of others and will act out, even physically, to protect them. Even in light of an intense argument or fight, however, Mallow does her best to forgive and forget; provided that offenses are not repeated, she'll hold true to her belief that everyone deserves a second chance.IGGY
17 - male - inkling
[attr="class","likeit-scroll"]
friendships
Despite his somewhat off-putting demeanor, Iggy isn't half as serious and silent as he might seem. Although his shyness discourages him from approaching others without reason, he still makes an effort to be kind to those he might encounter. Iggy feels a bit more at ease around talkative people (mostly because it means he won't have to carry the conversation), but still enjoys the presence of other, more reserved strangers - even if it takes a little more effort on his part. If he's treated with respect and kindness, Iggy won't take long to warm up to new friends; he's especially appreciative of those who understand his need for space - both emotional and physical - and is much likelier to befriend someone who doesn't impose too much on his solitude.
romances
Romance isn't exactly a threshold Iggy has entered just yet, and it's not something he's given much thought, either. Aside from a past childhood crush, he's not one to fixate on romance. In fact, he's more likely to smother and avoid any such feelings, should they arise. Iggy's not one to develop feelings for just anyone - only someone he's already close friends with would do, and even then, it's extremely unlikely that he would act on his affection. Chances are, he'd avoid them in the hopes that his feelings would simply leave. After all, childish avoidance definitely beats fumbling like an idiot and blowing everything.enemies
Irritation is something Iggy knows all too well, but hatred? Not so much. He's all too experienced with keeping a handle on his emotions, and even if he is stewing with fury, there's not exactly a great chance anyone would know. Even so, it doesn't take much to get on his bad side. He's perfectly content simply disliking someone in the comfort of his own mind, and getting him to any point beyond that isn't an easy task. At times, he's far too tolerant of mistreatment and rudeness, having learned to simply turn the other cheek and move on. In terms of physical contact, however, he has very little patience. He'll forgive someone who simply didn't know any better, but anyone who chooses to disregard his wishes for personal space is guaranteed to get snapped at. Mistreating or hurting his loved ones isn't something he'll readily forgive, either, and there's a good chance he'll ensure they're too scared to mess with his friends or family ever again.TAWNY
25 - female - octoling
[attr="class","likeit-scroll"]
friendships
Unlike most Octolings, Tawny's far from biased when it comes to Inklings. Being the outsider that she is, she's only really loyal to one person - herself. Even so, she isn't one to blindly approach someone without first taking some cautionary measures. Once she's ensured that someone's not a threat, she has no problem striking up a conversation. Tawny's snarky and teasing personality can be a bit difficult to adjust to, but she means well enough... most of the time. She doesn't hold back when it comes to honesty, either, so if she doesn't like someone, they're sure to figure it out - immediately. Despite her rough and tumble personality, she's considerably gentler with those she knows and trusts. Befriending her takes patience and thick skin, but once a bond has been formed, there's very little she wouldn't do for someone she cares about.
romances
Romance isn't exactly one of Tawny's strengths. With her tendency to sneer and mock most everything - especially sappy stuff - it'd be quite a feat to get her to develop even a small crush. Should the unlikely occur, however, she'd be far from subtle. After all, when Tawny wants something, she gets it - and fast. Her teasing and aggressive nature isn't exactly the most alluring, but that certainly wouldn't dampen her enthusiasm. It's likely that she'd deal with a simple crush the same way she does everything else: boldly and impulsively. When it comes to lasting feelings, however, chances are her confidence would sputter and die pretty quickly.enemies
Tawny has more than her fair share of enemies already - after all, you don't make a living as a thief without tangling some tentacles. She's got more than just a few people who'd like her dead, even if she doesn't seem to mind much. Anyone who gets in the way of her work is bound to get chewed out. Only continuous interference would guarantee a spot on her blacklist - that, and messing with her friends.PIXEL

friendships
If you can tolerate talking - and a lot of it - then chances are, you'll like Pixel and she'll like you. She's not exactly the most attentive and doesn't pick up easily on social cues. If something's not said outright, it might as well not have been said at all as far as she's concerned. Pixel will eagerly befriend pretty much anyone, provided that they have a high capacity for teasing and affectionate (or not-so affectionate) bullying.
romances
Good luck with that.enemies
To put things simply, Pixel hates a lot of things - and a lot of people. Being the argumentative and passionate Inkling she is, she won't hesitate to instigate a fight (even if the opponent in question is twice her size). Her aggressive nature has made her plenty of enemies already, and she has no problem badmouthing them to anyone who'll listen. Something as little as disrespecting her favorite video game is enough to land you at the top of her hit list, so the real struggle with Pixel is not becoming her enemy.There'll be quite a few more characters here later on, but for now this is pretty much it! If you're interested in discussing some plot junk or just starting an rp with any of these kiddos, feel free to pop a reply in this thread or send me a PM and I'd be happy to get some fun relationships started!!
