This section is gonna be essentially 'tldr' version of his profile so here we gooo! He makes sure he puts his makeup on right, puts his tentacles in a bun, and wears long-sleeved clothes to hide literally any signs of him being an Octoling to escape from the discrimination Inklings perform against his race. It will not be easy discovering his true face due to his constant paranoia keeping him from fully relaxing in the public. He doesn't relax til he's in his apartment and that's the only time he gets to be free of makeups, concealing clothes, and buns. [break][break] He is kind, patient, understanding towards personal issues like depression and paranoia, and considerate of others, even going so far to try to cover himself up or word things carefully so not to spark any fights. However, even he has his limits, unfortunately. He doesn't like rude/nosy Inklings, especially when he's in a bad mood. [break][break] This sort of stoic 'I-don't-care' attitude has caused him to have close brushes with fights, which is literally the major thing he avoid a lot. He's an Octoling, after all, and fighting will literally cause him to fight like he used to. It is not pretty when you get him fighting since he'll literally try to decimate his opponent. This is why he tries to avoid fighting because it flat-out gives him away as an Octoling. [PTab=Friends] [attr="class","one_main"]Friends, friends, friends! Something that Vulkaan needs to expand on beyond his tiny lil band of friends he already currently have. However, because of his slightly deceptive nature, it's not going to be easy befriending him beyond 'acquaintances'. He is legitimately concerned that if he trusts an 'outsider' Inkling with his secret, they will not take it well and may attempt to attack him outright. He knows he has to take that risk/plunge and get it over with should an Inkling befriend him to the point of being actual friends with him. [/PTab={background:transparent;width:350px;padding:0px;margin-top:-3px;height:250px;overflow:auto;}][break][break] All he needs is a good reminder that he can't constantly hide behind his paranoia and worries. Having a good friend who will hear him out will probably do wonders for his strained mental state, to be honest. Sure, he has his tiny band o' friends but they've been there and done that and now they all have lives to keep up with the bills so he literally can't just sit them down and have a conversation with them anymore. [break][break] Plus, it was so easy to just wipe his worries away when they weren't in any towns. But now? It's a serious problem that they are failing to realize and to address asap. So, in the light of that, Vulkaan does actually need a friend to confide in and to be comforted that no Inklings or Octolings are out to destroy them at this very moment. As stupid as that worry sounds, it is a very real one due to his status and constant education from Octarian Force. [PTab=Enemies] [attr="class","one_main"]Enemies! Group of dickish people that makes life insufferable in a way! Lemme tell you, though, Vulkaan will have enemies on both sides, plus with some random species not really liking Octoling in general for whatever reasons they have. [/PTab={background:transparent;width:350px;padding:0px;margin-top:-3px;height:250px;overflow:auto;}][break][break] On the Octoling front, he will undoubtedly have some enemies here. He's physically skilled, even if he's utter crap with guns, and has had his superiors' eyes on him for quite a while. That's going to make some Octolings jealous of him and potentially may develop grudge against him because of the loss on their side. I dunno. It's possible Octolings wouldn't like him for their own reasons I can't think of at the moment. Whatever it is, Vulkaan has enemies within the Octarian Force. [break][break] Inklings... Oh boy, that's another can of worms like Octolings. As soon as he drops his disguise in public, he's instant-enemy. This is literally the reason why he keeps himself all dolled up. Otherwise, though, his stoic attitude probably gained him some enemies in this place as well. Through it's more of their fault for letting their tempers control their actions at that moment. Vulkaan isn't the nosy type himself so he tends to keep to himself on most part, really. The only time he asks some questions is when he's taking and serving customers' orders. Love is love, yeah? He's just not gonna be interested in striking up a relationship right now because of his mental issues. Gotta take care of himself before pursuing a serious relationship and that will not ever happen for a long while. [break][break] In regards of crushes, they can be any species and any genders, even if I would highly prefer any crushes to be male. Whatever happens, happens.
