Manic is an unique case of a Cyborg Inkling, he has his permanent red ink color, althrough he is able to change it when it comes to Turf Wars team colors. He has his face splitted in one organic side and one metal side with one bionic red eye, he wears a red scarf and one vest, having one arm with robotic implants that is able to wear ink cannons as busters. One of his legs, also mechanical, makes him able to stomp dangeours enemies in a deadly way.
Manic was known for being a normal cyan-colored Inkling, except, one day,
he and Joe were hanging out in the outsides of Inkopolis, when suddently, a
rude delinquent gang, attacked them to death just for amusement.
Manic survived, however, the same luck didn't run on Joe, dying in the moment.
Some Inklings wandering around found a deadly injured Manic, quickly brought to the Inkopolis hospital, the doctors with the help of
Butch, Joe's younger brother saved the deadly injured Inkling by injecting artificial
but acceptable blood due to the total loss, placing mechanic parts to the
missing organic parts, and adding him a strength and speed boost when comes to
tactics and fighting. After waking up, he asked everyone about Joe, only to
drop in tears hearing his fatal fate. Since then, searching for revenge against
the ones that made his life change forever and made his late best friend gone
forever. He eventually wins an unseparable friendship with Butch, like he got
once with Joe.
