There are old legends...Ones of those who used to live in the darkest depths of the ocean before the war, who glow in the night. Who feed on ink. These legends have faded over time, washed away by pixels and the comforting words of parents. There are still who remember them. But simply as myths, nothing more...

....

They are wrong. Julie is such a creature, normal looking in the daytime, she becomes something else entirely during the night. She needs to feed on ink, something she only get (Inconspicuously) in Turf Wars. However, she was brought up in an old house by her parents, who feared the outside world. As a result she absorbed their even older fashioned ways, and thus is not very fresh at all. to better climate to this world, she needs her distant cousin Ned, who tries his very earnest to be the freshest squid around, and maybe with his help, she can prove to her parents there is still hope for their kind. 

She is usually red, with quite cool looking glow-in-the-dark marks. As a result most people just believe its a fashion statement.
