This naturally bright-green squid kid has a deep interest in the sport of Splatoon and wishes to reach the top using his trusty Splash-o-matic, given to him by his parents once he was old enough to participate. Since then, his experience with Inkopolis culture, as well as encounters with many-an-inkling both rude and kind, have helped him establish his likes, dislikes, and personality. Although not as introverted as he used to be when he was younger, Kyle still enjoys the mellow comfort of his favorite songs, and still gets butterflies in his stomach whenever he gets asked about the "greater plans" for his future. About halfway through his life as a sixteen year-old, Kyle successfully reached a coveted A- Rank for participating in ranked battles, relieved that the time he spent anxiously awaiting the outcome of his efforts had paid off, at least somewhat. Curiously enough, he had received a letter from gear-dealing company called "Cuttlegear" soon after - a group he had never heard of -asking him to come in to interview for an internship, as they were apparently interested in showcasing the budding stars of Inkopolis. At the time, the innocuous request seemed normal enough - although soon after arriving at the building where the interview was supposed to take place, Kyle found himself becoming initiated into the Inkopolis task force as a rookie agent due to his promising skill in Turf Wars. After the proceedings, Kyle was required to study a set of readings they had provided him with (going into detail on the true nature of the Octoling threat, how to identify an Octoling, the identity of other Agents, and keeping his cover) and was then told to act as normal until they required his services. Since then, he has waited patiently for an assignment, but longs to interact with his fellow agents and learn more about the world of an agent firsthand.
