CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Born blind, Nolia is an inkling with an immense passion for plants and flowers. Loving the feel of leaves and the smell of blossoms, she can get lost easily in her thoughts when admiring a nice garden. Always needing some kind of ambient noise, she is happy living in her flat in Flounder Heights where there is no place for silence between Turf Wars and noisy neighbors. Living alone with her guide seal, she moved near Booyah Base to be able to live life to its fullest, enjoying libraries providing audio books, grocery stores selling actual fresh vegetables, and the company of a multitude of people. Her parents visit her often, coming from her birth town, making sure she is doing fine and helping her find more marks around the new city.
Around 5"4, Nolia has brown skin and long blue tentacles she always keeps in a bun. She never leaves her flat without some jewelry, generally earrings, with sometimes a few hair pins. Even if she can't see herself, she likes feeling pretty.

Ariel is Nolia's guide seal. Having been her companion since childhood, they share a special connection. At age 3, her parents showed her a relic from human culture, the Little Mermaid, and despite being unable to see the images, or even understand the ancient unknown language used, Nolia had been enthranced by the voices and the songs. The name for the seal had been established instantly, even if it was male.She has taught Ariel various tricks to aid her daily life, such as warning her for various things by barking, or picking up various items she may lose hold of. Hating having to use a cane, Nolia relies entirely on him when walking outside.
Unable to change ink color, Ariel is however capable to swim in ink if it's close enough to its natural color, navy blue, present on his tail. The rest of his body is grey.
