Hanako
Personality: Hanako is a shy girl who's had a bad first impression on the world around her, so it would be common to see her hiding herself or even being a bit scared when first meeting someone. But if you manage to play the right cards and get her to come out, she's really sweet and innocent. A bit quirky sometimes, but for the most part she's as gentle as they get. She'll naturally cling to someone if she's scared or just uneasy about something, but give her the right scenario and she can stand up for herself, though it isn't that common. As for how she treats her friends, she's as loyal and kind as they get. Always there if you're down, always believing in you and wanting to give a second chance, and despite her lack of cooking skills she'll still try and make you something. It won't be disgusting goop, but instead she tends to burn things in the process of making said dishes. But sometimes a bit of burning adds for some good flavour, especially with popcorn~
Appearance: Standing at a somewhat taller height than most average inklings her age, almost a head above most. Hanako has a fair build that's soft, not overweight but she does worry if she has a bit of chub around her mid. Her right eye is a golden colour and is seen most of the time while the other is covered 9 times out of 10, but when the other one is revealed it's shown that she has Heterochromia and hence her Left eye is a deep sea blue. A bust that's average sized and nothing to feel sad, or overly proud of. Her hair/tentacles have a unique-ish style to them as they tend to have colour in the middle that then slowly fades to white edges, and when not playing in Turf Wars her tentacles are a nice pink which suit well with the fade to white. Some of said 'hair' covers up her left eye while the rest was worn neatly to match the style she wanted and not have it be too messy. Two tentacles flow behind her like long hair that get to her shoulder-blades, or even longer.And for clothing, she tends to wear a white sweater with fairly long arm parts, hence covering her hands most of the time but she doesn't mind it as she finds it fun to have it that way. Her skirt is a rose red that darkens at the edges, and although her shoes are mainly random, she tends to like a certain blue and white pair of Seahorses.
Backstory: She was born and raised to see the world in a particular way. The way that her parents had come to see the world after time and so before Hanako could get her own grip on what life is like, she was shoved away from everyone and told to fear that which was the outside world. Her parents..... had it pretty rough to say the least, and so they wanted to protect their child as best they could, even though they didn't know they were making things worse for when she had to go out on her own. Whenever going out, she was afraid as a child and rather shy. The information and way she was brought up made things scary for her childhood, but several glimpses of fun and a joyous world were seen out of her home's windows and whenever they went on trips. She was curious and wanted to know more about what exactly was true and false. After learning about the world some (Without her parents knowing) she then took a deep breath and one night, left the house. Sneaking out to Booyah Base she spotted an event going on that had many people smiling, laughing, dancing, and having fun. The first Splatfest she ever saw, and she loved the sight of it. But with the way she was taught, being around so many people scared her half to death. It didn't help when some of the inklings came up to her and asked if she was lost or missing her parents. To which she just passed out from shock and later awoke in a different house than her own. Though much to her relief, it was her Grandmother's house that she found herself in. That morning, said Nanna who goes by the name Lily, told her that her parents weren't the best to stay around. Their entire family was pushed away by those two because of their paranoia and Hanako was forced to live an anti-social life. But Lily wanted to give her grand-daughter a chance, and so invited the young girl to live with her. Though the details are little in the records, a few tears were shed and Hanako finally found someone comfortable to live with. Ever since the age of 8 she had lived with Granny Lily, and she was taught many thing: how the world really worked, that kids her age were amazingly fun and kind, the fact that if she had troubles with her emotions she should find a way to let them out with a song or two when alone(And even in public spaces she can sing to herself quietly to calm herself down), and the wonders of Inkopolis were shown. 9 years later and her Grandma had to be moved to the hospital to keep a track of her health, but the old Inkling was still alive and had a fair amount of life in her, so there was no need to worry. Lily would go back home in due time and wasn't in any danger, much to Hanako's relief. In the meantime, Hanako inherited the apartment they were living in which was located near Booyah Base as she just needs to catch the bus to get there. She's been trying to find a job recently but either it's full, or she has troubles applying for it with her typical shyness and the fact that she can get easily intimidated by a loud booming voice. But still, she enjoys taking trips to the social part of the city now. And occasionally, when it's dark out..... those still in the hub area can hear a sweet melody flowing throughout the cold night air as Hanako sings on-top of one of the buildings while watching the night sky.
Friends: Though it may be hard to befriend this shy inkling, once you have her loyalty she'll stand by you through thick and thin. If you're down, she'll try and help with comfort or unintentional quirkiness for a good laugh. If you're in a tight pinch in battles she'll rush to your aid. And if it's late then she'll try and snuggle with you since she trusts you so much. The only problem is gaining her trust as she's fairly shy and afraid sometimes, leading to a hard time to get her, but it's well worth it in the end. And if you teach her how to cook, she'll love you for it!
Enemies: Though she doesn't try to make these as she doesn't really have anyone in the first place, if you happen to piss her off by being rude or mean. She'll have a hard time liking you, or just will stay away no matter what. And if you even dare hurt one of her friends, she'll give you the stink eye every time you pass by her. Though she won't use any harsh words for the most part, nor make any overly angry actions, she'll hold a grudge and find a way to indirectly make sure you get what's coming to you. She's loyal to her friends, so never mess with them. No matter how shy she may act.

Relationships/Lovers: Though not the most direct when coming to confessions, heck you'll probably have to be the one to say it or even make the first 'move' on her. But she does have signs that she likes someone. Easily embarrassed when someone talks about her and said crush, blushes when close to them along with potentially doing some quirky acts in embarrassment, sometimes stares at them without paying anything else to mind(Easily startled in that state of mind), and would sing love songs more often when having a crush. As for when in a relationship that's established, she'll stick by her lover like glue and be the sweetest little thing. Trying her best at everything for them despite messing up sometimes, and if you give her any love (Even a hug or a kiss on the cheek/indirect kiss) she'll be putty in your hands with how embarrassed she will be. OH! AND IMPORTANT NOTE: She's Bisexual, so both genders can have a go at her! Though she tends to lean towards females more, so have fun with that~

- Jackson is Hanako's first real friend! A good listener, and careful around the shy inkling was exactly what she needed! Not to mention due to his quirky nature around Hanako, she found it a bit easier to open up to him as he wasn't forceful and was actually quite amusing! Not to mention he's a fan of her singing, so that gave a slight confidence boost to Hanako. Any time he wants to come to her hidy-spot and listen to her singing, Jackson is welcome!...... Well, not any time. She still needs a few times to herself

- Though she isn't a drinker, as she never wants alcohol, if you manage to slip her some, then it won't be long until she's drunk. She's a light drinker. Have fun
- Though a fan of the Squid Sisters, she isn't obsessive over them. She's more curious about those artists that tend to go solo, and will always have an ear for those that want to talk music
- She's a fan of dogs, particularly the more fluffy ones like huskys and what not. Have a picture of a dog, a video, or have one with you and she'll be so happy.
- Being an only child, she would love a sibling figure. Big sister, big brother, or just anything(Though the elder sibling figures are always nice).
- She can be a bit nerdy when it comes to anime, though when she does feel like she is or is about to nerd out, she'll probably hide her self from embarrassment.
- Despite the inklings not being the best with water, she likes going for a swim here or there. So Mahi Mahi Resort is a place she likes visiting. Her preferred choice of swimwear is a white two-piece swimsuit that has frills around the edges here and there.
