Once you've created your OOC account and read all of the necessary information, you're ready to create a character! Below is a step-by-step guide detailing how to create and fill out your character's application.

• Be sure you're posting the application on your out of character account and not your character account
• The subject of the thread should be as follows: First Name "Nickname" Last Name, but nicknames and last names are both optional, so it's fine to just include only the first name if you'd like
• Retrieve the application code from here - be sure to select and copy all of the code from the RAW Paste Data!
• Once you've copied the code, go to the pending applications board and click the button that says 'Create Thread'
• In the page that opens next, locate the 'Preview' and 'BBCode' tabs - they should be right next to each other. Click on the BBCode tab. The text will be green when it's selected
• Paste the code in the content box. If you switch to the Preview tab, your template should look something like this. It's not exactly pretty, but it'll look just fine once you actually post it!
• You should be able to edit most of the information you need to from the Preview tab. When it comes to changing the images, though, you'll need to switch back to the BBCode. Keep in mind that you'll likely need to resize the images you want to use to fit the set dimensions - you can do so here if you're not sure where to edit your images
• The first image, a 100x100 icon at the top of the application, can be found by hitting Ctrl+f on your keyboard and typing placehold.it/100x100 into the search bar. Hit enter and it should highlight the url you need to change. Delete the url and replace it with the direct link to the image you want to use.
• Similarly, to change the 440x280 image at the bottom of the application/third tab, you'll want to search placehold.it/440x280 and replace the url with the image of your choice.
• As for the description tab/section of the application, if you'd like to input another subtitle, you'll need to go into the BBCode tab. You can paste the following code at the end of one of your description sections, but be sure to post it before any [*/div]'s you see:

Insert the following: [*break][*break] - remember to remove the asterisks (*) though!
• When you're finished, click 'Create Thread'! You can always go back and edit your application by clicking the 'Edit' button at the head of your post, though!
• To change the color the accent text appears as, search "7CDF41" in the BBCode using Ctrl+F and remove the hex code with one of your choice - you can find the color you'd like to use here!
• After you've completed your application, be sure to post in the Notification Thread so staff knows to review it! We'll eventually respond to your post, either accepting your application or asking you to revise some things, so keep an eye out!
• If your application has been approved and you'd like to make some changes to it afterwards, leave a note in the Application Edits thread and a member of staff will unlock the thread and move it into the Pending Applications board for you to edit.
