Avaia is a lone tribal from a tribe that committed a mass suicide in the name of some prophecy based around a child passing a trial which involved killing a beast with fur as white as snow and with properties as mysterious as an enigma and taking said fur and making it into an outfit. Her tribe's deep spiritual beliefs and connections allowed their spirits to congregate into one single entity to act as her "Spirit Ally" of sorts after being given a supposedly sacred bow and arrow. The role was forced on her as a child and generally left her unable to experience life as a normal person would, meaning despite looking like an adult, on the inside she's still a child, a very jaded one, since control of her life was taken from her for just passing some test. Her role is to guide spirits into passing onto the Ether so they may be judged to either go to the Aether or Abyss. Or choose to just exist in the Ether or reincarnate into another life if they aren't sent to the Abyss. The Aether is basically a type of Heaven, while the Abyss is a dark place that punishes those based on their crimes in life against nature. Avaia follows the will of a Primordial being that is interwoven into every existance even so much as imagined by carrying out her duty to guide those who have died or have reached their time to the Ether, regardless of the method needed to do so. Despite her doing as she's told, she's very resentful of her life being out of her control and while won't admit it, hates being a "Spirit Guide".
