At an average height of 5'6", Casper tends not to stand out in a crowd. With a build on the leaner side, he's certainly no muscle man - that being said, though, he's not exactly scrawny, either. He's developed a fair amount of muscle through dancing, and as a result, he's plenty fit, even if he's not especially strong or fast. His skin is tan, and he doesn't burn easily; he rather enjoys sun bathing. Ever the expressive one, Casper rarely appears passive about anything; if he's feeling one way or another, you're sure to know it. Though he does try his best to conceal the emotions he'd rather not let others know he's feeling, it doesn't tend to work very well. The mask around his eyes is slightly broader around the upper section of his face, though only slightly. Casper's eyes are a vibrant violet hue, and typically very bright and enthusiastic. A similarly cool color, his tentacles are the same sky blue shade he was born with, though the edges are tinted with pink; while he wears them tied back behind his head, as most boy Inklings often do, the rest of his 'hair' he allows to fall in bangs just above his eyes. Some would call it a messy look, but Cas prefers the term 'stylish'.

There's nothing striking enough to set him apart at first glance, though he does tend to dress with brightly-colored clothes and accessories - his favorite is a red letterman jacket he spent nearly a full month's wages on. Given how much he wears it, though, it's got some wear and tear, not nearly the mint condition it was in when he first purchased it. He's rarely seen without his headphones, whether they're over his ears or around his neck, and if he's not listening to music, he's probably singing to himself, instead.
Perhaps what Casper desires most is the approval of others. As such, his personality is fluid and he tends to show different sides of himself depending on whose company he's in. Ever the extrovert, he's most comfortable when he's with someone else, whether he's close to them or not, and doesn't hesitate when it comes to meeting strangers - in fact, he relishes in the opportunity to do so. Upon first meeting someone, Casper can be incredibly warm and welcoming, if not a bit overbearing, and it's not always well-received, but he doesn't seem to care. In spite of being willing to go to great lengths to earn someone else's approval, he refuses to change anything about himself in order to do so. His efforts to be liked cease quite abruptly the precise second anyone expects him to apologize for the way he is; if someone doesn't like him, he insists on it being something that's lacking in them - not him.

Most content when he has no one to please but himself, he thoroughly enjoys anything that requires as little responsibility as possible. Watching movies, playing video games, partying and clubbing all appeal to him for this precise reason. To him, having fun is less of a luxury and more of a necessity, and having fun with other people, even people he might not know at all, is the best way to do it as far as he's convinced. Casper enjoys things that engage his senses, such as music and dancing, not to mention alcohol, and so it's not at all unusual for him to spend an entire night out partying at a club with complete strangers. He can be incredibly lazy when it comes to doing anything that requires actual effort. Unless he's got his whole heart in something, it's not likely that he'll get very far with it - conversely, though, if Casper really wants something, he'll stop at nothing until he gets it.
