Buildings around the pool aglow with decorative lighting as water levels shifted in their usual cycle. The lanky purple inkling beamed with delight, kicking the water as he sat on the poolside.
Upbeat music played over the speakers and other guests, inklings and jellies alike enjoyed the atmosphere.
"Ah, Rissy, have you been here before?"
He looked toward his friend, leaning back as he kicked both of his feet out of the water. Too bad he couldn't just dive in head first.. Maybe...?

Cerise layed next to him on a towel, she was relaxing and enjoying the resorts late night colorful light displays. She was definitely excited when Vinny had brought up going on vacation together, and so far everything was going exactly how she imagined, perfect.

Cerise positioned herself onto her side, her head resting in her hand, she then felt his hand trail up her side causing her to shiver.
"hey, you're gonna give me goosebumps!" She laughed with a grin, catching his hand but instead of tossing it away she rolled herself into him, her back pressed against him as she moved his hand over her in a cuddling position. "there, that's better~"

"I don't remember what they have here, it's been a while since I've taken a vacation. Gosh, I wonder what I should wear, though... I might have packed a few too may outfits for a week's stay..."
He got quiet, giving the matter real serious thought. Fashion IS his passion, after all. Gotta look good so long as you can help it! He considered something formal, similar to his uniform, but maybe less business-y? Decisions, decisions.
"Oh, and what about after we eat? It shouldn't take to long, and there's plenty to do, or we could just relax for the rest of the night. I don't mind either way as long as we have a good time."
Unconsciously, he pulled her closer to himself, just enjoying the company and a fan of cuddling family and friends... It helped Vinny to relax, even if he wasn't at all feeling tense.

She giggled, feeling him pull her in closer, and hearing him trail off about what to wear and things to do later. The pink inkling moved herself so she was now facing him, getting better access to cuddle him, she smoothed one of his tentacles back.
"don't worry too much vin, I'm sure you'll know what to wear, you always do~" she mused, giving his cheek a small kiss before resting her head in the crook of his neck. "and I don't mind always just head back to the room after" a small little smirk crept on her face, as a notion popped into her head, her arm casually wrapping itself around his torso.

Somewhat startled by the loud growl that came from his stomach, she lifted her head up to see his embarrassed face which she only met with a giggle.
"come on silly" She smiled, getting up from her spot and giving her body a good stretch. She shivered slightly, the cold breeze coming by. "Lets hurry inside I need to change into something warmer"
