Andrew is an Octoling who's family in the present is just him and his older brother Oolin, a blue ink colored Octoling, who both of them escaped from Octovalley before all the agent 3 shenanigans happened. It wasn't a nice era for octolings too. Andrew, in his escape was chased by his people, Oolin helping his lil' bro in the background, but it was still a traumatic experience that left Andrew as a nervous child.
He adopted the color orange since he liked it, and left the Octovalley to have a 'new life', but it was not also a pleasant coming, since all octarians were targeted by Inklings, even if they were 'friendly'. Even though, Andrew found some families that believed him and gave him temporary homes to stay some weeks and then move, since notices and rumors of him wandering quickly spreaded. Sometimes, with the company of Cap'n Cuttlefish, he sticks around in Octovalley sometimes, since is not that easy to get out of your roots.
Anything is known about Andrew's parents and his life in Octovalley before his escape.
Andrew is somewhat a really nice guy, sometimes awkward and also really friendly. Has a high vibe and loves doing turf wars, but as he also was an octarian soldier, he takes it sometimes really serious, getting splatted and later, just rage about it like a little child. Somehow, he took a love to hoodies and also to all the fresh fashion on Inkopolis, always changing his look depending what's new.
His hair is orange, with yellow/green eyes and 6 tentacles, the little ones just being little double/tips of his forehead tentacles, since he doesn't like his ears being shown.
