And we're done! Hope this is up to par. C:
Kazoo could easily be seen as the poster child for the "troubled street kid" trope. Found sheltering in a dumpster at a young age, she was taken into an orphanage and steadily rehabilitated over the course of her life. Despite having an aggressive streak and the habit of her excessive energy becoming harmful if she can't work it out, she arguably turned out pretty well -- she never found an adoptive family, but her four roommates are fairly close.
She's not sure exactly where her future is going, but she really wants to get up into the ranks of the talented and famous of turf wars.
Until then, Kazoo spends her life steadily bouncing between college and her job at an ice cream shop in Inkopolis. She's fairly detached from current events, but with her strong opinions, she might be easy to drag into conflict if the right situation arises.
Standing at about 5 feet and 6 inches, Kazoo has dark blue tentacles and markings with weirdly-contrasting magenta eyes, and her facial mask tapers down her nose somewhat. An Inkling with Humboldt squid heritage, she has fairly short but powerful tentacles, razor-sharp teeth, and lots of splotched markings. She's fairly toned in the upper body due to her fighting style and weapon of choice, although there's still a lot of baby fat around her belly and hips; overall, her figure is nothing traditionally attractive, but it's certainly somewhat imposing on the field.
Her preferred outfit for turf wars is usually a traditional setup to fit the day -- she's never seen without her bamboo sedge hat. Outside of competition, Kazoo would rather wear anything that's comfortable and at least somewhat color-coordinating. Even if her fashion sense isn't well-defined, at least she's not the queen of casual wear.
When it comes to turf war and its offshoots, Kazoo fancies herself to be a bit unusual, even when she vigorously follows everything about it. Ever since she was fairly young, she found turf war to be cathartic to her need to stay active and busy, and this holds true today.
Though she wants to be the very best of the big-time brackets, she doesn't have a dedicated squad, and rather drifts from group to group as needed.
She's definitely interested in the notion of being in a competitive squad, though. It's just a matter of finding a group that's willing to tolerate her.
Kazoo's main weapon is a Slosher, which she's somewhat taken in as part of her identity. It rather fits her, she thinks: she lives life in the fast lane, splatting fast and, if taken out, returning just as quickly.
If you see her anywhere, it's almost exclusively going to be traditional turf wars, or sitting on top of a moving tower -- she's not very fond of rainmaker or splat zones, even if it's a lot of fun for her to watch.
