The rail car intercom chimed with the Squid Sister's signature song as it arrived at another stop, unloading and loading more citizens of Inkopolis. A shorter squid girl sat huddled in her seat as the car became crowded with jellyfish and other inklings sporting weapon cases with keychain straps of their fav brands, bands, and whatever else was on their minds and hype of Freshness. She looked over at a group of four seemingly close friends with their cases in hand dressed in turf gear. It was obvious they were a squad of some kind and with that, she pouted at the very sight of them and hugged her own slender case holding her New Squiffer and thumbed through her pod for some music to occupy herself till the next stop where the majority of the passenger will file out of.
Her head bobbed a little to a chip tune remix as her blonde head rested back against the window to watch the cars make their corner turn to Booyah Base just itching to leave the car. C'mon...c'mon..! she thought while tapping on her weapon case and pressed her backpack shielded back into the plastic seat further in impatience. At least the doors flung open wide and she jumped from her seat to get swept up by the de-boarding mob onto the landing and head down to the main hub many squid would have hit up at some point in their lives.
Ceylon stared up at the large Zap Fish upon its tower with a tugging smile at the corner of her lips when she saw the same squids from before passing by her in loud chatter. Obvious to everything else as they headed toward Ammo Knights. The sight of them and their well made team continued to spark in her that she pulled on her bag straps to hit up a near by cafe for something to chill out on. She wanted to try sniping today and it wouldn't help her improve if she starts off on a bad mood.
The door rang as she entered and headed up to the counter as a student just getting out of class to roam the flavor selections for anything remotely choco-kelp mint.

"This was a very good scrimmage guys." he said to his squad-mates as they sat down on the train back to booyah base. All of them nodded in agreement. He then talked about how well they did. After their discussion, Ivan quietly opened the weapon case containing his range blaster and noticed that it got dented. "Oh looks I need to bring this to Sheldon later to fix it." he said to himself as he closed it.
When the train reached his stop, he said goodbye to the squad as he runs to his favorite frozen yogurt place to get his fix of inkberry with some gummy fish on top. After he gotten his food, he walked to his favorite spot and sat down and looked over his appointments for the day. He looked around to see that the squidmas decorations were already set up. "I wish that my older brother was here to see all of this." He thought as he ate his yogurt. "Lets see who I'm going to be helping today." he said as he flips though his small notebook.
He stops at page were he put his appointments for the day. "I have a lot of work ahead of me." he said as he looks at that page. Just as he said that his squid-phone rings.
"Hello?" he asks.
"Hey, just letting you know that you'll be at 10 o' clock today right?" the person asked.
"Yup." he answered.
"Okay, just confirming. Thanks, bye." the person said as they hung up.
He sighs as he continues to eat.

Ceylon continued browsing the selections as another squid came by to quickly order something berry looking with gummy fish toppings. She stood on her tiptoes to see that there were indeed a variety of gummy toppings she could consider as well. "One choco kelp-mint with extra choco kelp-mint bits." A rounded cool sugar mess lit up her eyes as she gleefully took it and paid before hopping over to a stool with her cased squiffer at her feet.
She took in a large bite and sucked on her spoon, kicking her shoes loosely while looking around the parlor and outside the window. Eventually she spotted that squid again that order ahead of her. They seemed oddly mature from her point of view, chatting on the phone about some meeting before eating again. The style of his tentacles and colors soon reminded her that he was part of the same group she spotted on the train too. The sight of him made her pout again before taking another sugar loaded spoon full to try admiring the squidmas decorations. It was clear she was irked by him given that she looked rather displeased despite the happy atmosphere.
On a tv monitor in the corner, a quick commercial for some squidmas decals flashed by with some Squid Sister merch as a freebie bargain. "Huh...wonder what new squidmas splatfest we'll have," she wondered before sighing. Another question being what would she want for squidmas this year. She yawned and sighed loudly before taking her yogurt to eat outside instead, neglecting her weapon case behind in her brooding mood.

He looks on the TV to see some ads on it. "Shoot I need to finish my squidmas shopping soon!" he said to himself. Then he hears someone getting up to go somewhere, unknowingly leaving their weapon case behind. "Hey! I think you left something behind." he said as he caries both cases.

She just made it outside and pulled a chair for herself to sit when the squid she was feeling jealous about tailed after her with her case in hand. "Ah! You..you!" She set her cup down and quickly took back her weapon's case. It was held closely in a possessive manner as the girl eyed the other squid who brought it before plopping down in the empty chair. "Thanks. Um, sorry," the cream colored inkling answered embarrassed and partly hiding behind her squiffer. There was no sense in being mad about him over returning the case.
"Um, weren't you with your squad mates? From the train. They still around...somewhere?" The question came oddly with a feeling they would jump out suddenly and make her slink away. For now the case was set to be held between her legs while attempting to eat a little before her dessert turns to puddled mush.

The other squid had worried look on her face as she quickly took back her weapon case. She then thanked him for bring it back. "Your welcome." he answered. She was a little worried that his squad may attack her. "They left on the train awhile ago. So yeah." he then answered as he sat down to continue to eat his yogurt.
"Looks like everything is in the squidmas spirit." he thought as he looked around the plaza while eating his yogurt.

"They left you behind? Oh." That seemed odd to her since the group looked like they were headed for the tower to hit off the turf areas. Another bite of her snack disappeared while sitting huddles with her case in her own personal bubbler zone.
Squidmas tunes and remixes filled up the loud speakers of most stores and carried on like a long extended commercial from the mini tv. "I'm Ceylon. What's your name?" She finally asked than resorting to calling him you.

"We had finished some scrimmages earlier today. On the train ride back here we talked about our strategies. We aren't an official squad yet." he said as he continues to eat his big helping of yogurt. "Oh, my name is Ivan." he then answered. "Nice to meet you Ceylon." he then added.

"Eh?" Ceylon slid the spoon out after another bite, looking at him in surprise of what he said. "You're not an official squad yet? But...but you all kinda looked so close and stuff. Even pretty official looking..to me anyway." Being a stand-in member for most of her turf matches, Ceylon never fit in with most to make up a team. Whenever she saw a group of close friends with their gear on did she just assume that this was the case. That or the group just eventually going to be one. Ivan's friends not being an complete team had her confused.
"Is it cause you guys don't go by an official name, Ivan?" She asked then ate slower, giving him her full attention now to take a look at his yogurt snack. It looked pretty good for an inkberry type but the girl was stuck in her ways for supporting her choco kelpmint.

Her jealousy at Ivan gradually changed over to curiosity once knowing she was wrong about something. It certainly settled her envy as she sat at the table with a half finished yogurt cup. "Sorry," she apologized for no other reason than hearing their team troubles. She took another bite and held the spoon in her mouth as she turned to open her school back pack to pull out a notebook and pen. A job flyer was messily folded crookedly and shoved into the back of the later pages as she opened it up to start scribbling down some ideas underneath amateur weapon doodles and turf maps. "Hmmm...," she fumed and chewed on the spoon head while writing down potential team names. She knew nothing about him or his team's preference of battling though so the names ended up being far random. Names: Hazard Rush

Ceylon blushed a little and waved at him in complaint of how bad they really were. "No way. Well, thanks but they're just gibberish." She answered before checking out his names. "Hmmm...heh heh, Sneaky Sneakers," she snickered at the slightly punny name before pointing at the bottom. "But wow these names are out there. Which one was your idea?"

"The Phoenixes was the name I made up and the rest are my teammates' names they made up." he answered. "One of my teammates made two when I told them to made only one which is okay because more options at least." he then added as he quietly hummed to the squidmas music playing in the plaza.

"Ah. So that's your pick," Ceylon nodded and rested her head on the table to review the whole list. He didn't sound like they were in any hurry to pick a name but a good name is important for official teams cause what what people call them anyway? Just a bunch of squids with their tentacles flailing about.
"What about a theme name for whatever your gear is or method of attack?" She suggested while fighting the urge to hum with him thanks to how catchy squidmas songs always were.
