Too occupied with his own humiliation to take any notice of Domino's, he ceased in his scolding only at the sound of a muffled snort. Slowly, his features shed their discomfort, lip curling and brow furrowing before he'd so much as considered who had dared laugh at their situation. A potent mixture of ire and shame churned in his heart, and with it rose an anger rivaled only by that of his equally embarrassed companion.
The disbelieving scowl Iggy wore twisted only further as his eyes fell accusingly upon a hysterical Casper. He was moments from snarling at the other boy when a shrill voice rose to interrupt him, its ferocity dulled by a signature thickness - one he recognized immediately as Domino's ever frequent crying-but-still-furious voice. A single glance at the feisty inkling was enough to dampen his anger, and with some regret, he allowed it to fade somewhat from his face, brow elevating with a trace of pity. Quietly cursing himself for his change of heart, Iggy shook his head and interrupted, taking a few long strides towards the bed, "It's not funny, Cas!"
Doing his best to ignore the heat still burning in his cheeks, he gestured angrily and spat, eyes narrowed, "You're the one who -- just... never mind! Knock it off!" Shifting his attention to a tearful Domino, he crossed his arms. "He's not worth it," Iggy told her, fixing the other boy with a stern glare. "He's just being an idiot - it's his fault."

When on your way out, be sure to say good-bye, and then lock the door tight.

Perhaps a part of him knew that his newfound amusement wouldn't be well received by his friends, but the larger, more dominant part of him, well... that part of him didn't care one bit.
Upon having delivered a weak point in Iggy's direction, he quickly tucked his hand back against his side, his laughter increasing in volume and hysteria when he saw the embarrassed looks on their faces. It was all he could do not to fall off the bed when, sure enough, Domino let out a shrill shout and came at him with a punch - but he couldn't see the tears in her eyes past the tears in his own. Too bad hers weren't formed from laughter.
Shaking still, he lifted either of his hands so as to try and shield himself from the onslaught, but his defense was as weak as his composure and, when met with her fist, his upper arm offered little resistance and instead absorbed the hit entirely, a raw soreness forming there as a result, but he couldn't bring himself to care. Giving a pained, but still very much amused, noise, he protested in a fit of giggling, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Chill out, Dom!" Grinning crookedly, he squinted an eye at the pain radiating from where she'd hit him and looked over at Iggy when he approached, still trying - and failing - to resist the urge to laugh some more.
By the time his friend fixed him with his own bit of scolding, he managed to gain control over the worst of his hysterics and scoffed halfheartedly, waving a hand. "Uh, yeah it is! It's not my fault you guys have no sense of humor." Snickering, he rubbed his arm, looking vaguely mischievous now. "'Sides, all I did was shove her off of me - she's the one who went and got all grabby and shit." Whether or not he'd actually seen her crying, he wasn't too oblivious to know that she was having one of her moods. Returning his attention to Domino, albeit a bit reluctantly, he offered, though unable to smother his grin, "Not like there's any use getting all upset. You've, uh... landed in situations a lot worse than that before, right? Right? Get it?"

Furious, humiliated, and on the verge of just going on a murder spree, Domino balled her fists tightly. Biting her bottom lip, the inkling raised her arm, as if readying herself to start wailing on her friend. She was so close to just... attempting murder. No one would care... Iggy wouldn't stop her. No one would know... Giving a distraught, defeated groan, Domino angrily wiped the tears from her face. "I have a sense of humor! Just, just... Go get fried."
Hopping off of the bed, her form melted into white, reforming quickly into the smaller squid form. Squeezing underneath Casper's bed, the white squid wiggled to the far corner of his room. "Fuck you guys!"

Too resigned to feel much other than exasperation, Iggy made no further attempts to quell Domino's outrage and instead crossed his arms, shaking his head knowingly down at Casper. His features neglected to so much as shift in their stoicism, and with a furrow of his brow, he little more than curled his lip at the other boy's whimsical remarks. He wasn't necessarily wrong; they both sucked. Of course, Iggy said nothing of the sort, too wary of upsetting Dom any further - as much as she deserved it.
"Whatever," he scoffed, looking away with a grimace. Rather than finding any shock in Domino's sudden retreat, he merely watched as the inkling shifted and promptly fled, disappearing under the cover of Casper's bed. Expression dry, Iggy shot his companion an accusing glare. "Nice going, idiot." He eyed Casper's shoulder for a moment, tempted to bruise it, before stepping aside and leaning with a disdainful sigh against the wall.
Only at the sound of Domino's muffled cursing did a look of offense cross over his face. Accompanied by a defensive squint, he glanced towards the bed and retorted, "Thanks, but that wasn't exactly my fault, Dom."
