Glancing at the other's jacket, she continued. "I'd assume that you are one too. From the jacket. Are you new?"

Amari looked, for the most part, unfazed. The only way she reacted was by giving her a brisk nod.
"I became an agent a few months ago, I think." she said. "I don't know if you would consider that new, but.." she concluded her sentence with a shrug.

She gave a dull laugh back. "Don't worry, I made the same mistake once. Thankfully, I've gotten better at stealth missions since then. Not gonna brag, but they're my forte."
Ivory winked to the other and smiled slightly. "Good thing I was out here for you, right?"

Amari nodded. "Yes, from what you've said you seem to be a pretty efficient worker. I can appreciate that." she gave a curt nod.
"...Yeah. I don't really believe in luck, but I certainly am glad you managed to find me before the octolings came back. You saved my hide."

"Why, thank you. It is about time that somebody appreciates my efforts," she said, nodding back.
"You're welcome. And don't worry, you don't need to pay back-- this is my job. Also, we should be almost there."
She was right- in front of them was a sedated area, and an ink-lined 'pad' similar to the respawn areas. They helped to 'boost' one's super jump so they can reach places further, like from Daggertooth to Booyah Base. However, the ones to and from Daggertooth weren't tidied up as much the others.

Amari nodded, stepping up to the pad and shooting her a side glance. "I'll go first; you follow me afterwards."
She stepped onto it and transformed into her squid form, shooting off in the direction of Booyah Base.

Amari transformed back into her humanoid form just before landing in the plaza with a loud thump. she readjusted her posture and watched as the other inkling landed beside her.
"Hey," she said as they landed. "So, uh. I guess that's it, then?" she shrugged and made a face.

"I suppose so. But...before you go..." She mumbled, getting a notebook and pen out of her pocket. After quickly writing on it, she gave the paper to the other.
"Here's my number. Call me if you get in trouble again," she explained, "The name's Ivory. We should work together sometime soon."

"Oh." Amari took the slip of paper, and, not having a pocket to put it in, she instead just stuffed it down her jacket. "Thanks, I guess."
"Nice to meet you... Ivory." she said. "My name is Amari. See you later." she then waved at her and turned on her heel, walking off.
