Having grown up in the Daggertooth District, Sasha's unwilling to even engage in small talk. He's quiet by nature and while he doesn't necessarily enjoy being alone, he hates causing or getting involved in trouble and in their neighborhood of Daggertooth, there's almost always trouble. He's ended up equating most relationships to trouble, even though not everyone he meets is going to be a druggie trying to get him to slip him prescription pills or a thief intent on robbing him and his family blind. So, it's hard for him to open up, to be friends with people, but being honest with him is a damn good start to becoming his friend.

Sasha's cynical and can be a bit too quick to judge in some situations, so it's not too difficult to get him to dislike someone. However, due to his weak willed nature, he's unlikely to explicitly show his dislike aside from repeated attempts to leave, short answers, and looking to be generally uncomfortable and irritated. Grudges and hatreds are a rarity from him, but they're not nonexistent. However, even when stuck with someone he hates, he won't lash out or make smart comments. That kind of stuff just causes trouble.

Sasha's weak willed nature come from a desire to not cause trouble. However, relationships tend to cause more trouble than saying no to someone does, so he tends to take greater lengths to avoid them. He's been in one or two, but he doesn't think he's ever been in love, per se. There's never been that passion people always talk of. This lack of passion, of any decent degree of affection tied to the relationship means they've all quickly fallen apart and, of course, caused trouble for him. Unless someone can spark a bit of passion in him, a bit of like, maybe a bit of love, then it's likely that he'll just say no when asked out on a date.
